hey everyone :wave:

GUESS WHAT

today, Feb 3rd 2009 is a memorable day since I got my FIRST KIMONO SET:iconmecutelove:

some time ago, as I was browsing the net looking for Yukata, found this Kimono Yukata Market Sakura press on link [link]" and BAAAM I like the good there

so I placed my order on Jan 30th.. and it arrive today Feb 3rd... pretty cool , eh? :D

its so beautiful :love:, take a look at it the real thing [link] Flower B
a beautiful black Kimono with purple flowers well, has some little white edges that made is even lovelier , and I ordered it along with the purple Obi and Tabi set

Obi is the think belt while Tabi is a white Japanese pair of socks.. it came along with Koshi himo , a soft belt that is needed to wear a Kimono / Yukata

YAAAAAAAAY :dance::w00t::dance::w00t:

I am so excited :D and soooooooooooooo HAPPYYYYYY

I am still not able to wear the obi belt correctly, even though I watched the video showing how to do so ^^;

:nod: guess I'll learn it eventually

its so beautiful , it looks way more beautiful in real that it actually does in pictures :heart:

Hello. :) Looks good. Is there a photo with you wearing it?
I found this shop too and I want to buy a yukata. Could you tell me something about the quality, please?
I choose a red one. But at the photos of this one you can see some white yarn... I'm not sure If I should choose this one. What do you think?

hey there:) thanks

Well, thats a common kimono, not a yakata :nod: it's very nice and elegant ... But I have one problem with it ^^; I can only wear it in winter because it's just way too hot over here!

I bought it three years back, I don't think the design is avaiable now.

As for gulags, I have an indigo one with pink Sakura flowers (from the same shop). I believe the overall quality of the Yukata and obi belt is really good. The color is rich, the design of the material is pretty , the stetting is very neat and well done.

I believe that the actual quietly of the fabric appears after washing it, however, I only worse it once indoors just to take a million photoshots , so I haven't washed it yet ;p
But, it was easy to press iron, and looked great!

The only thing I didn't like much is the geta sandal .. Even though it's a good fit for me (my shoe size is 37) .. It is overpriced ... However, the Yukata itself is totally worth it...

I don't know which one you have in mind? Send me a link to it please ^_^

Normally I would go for darker colors, because it doesn't require wearing special kimono undergarment to look so good. I don't know about red, it's up to you :aww:

The color and design best for you relies on your personality and skin and hair color and tone :aww:

I'm afraid I won't post photo of me waring it :P lol

Hello :aww:
Sorry for the late reply, I wasn't feeling well lately ( tooth issue ^^; , too scared to eat for 9 days before completing my final session of treatment last evening )

It's a beautiful design .. The color doesn't look so sheer, it seems to be ok.. As for fitting , you can send an email to the site owner and ask ^^ , Yuzo San is a very nice guy and he quickly replies :nod:
The one I ordered fitted me well , I'm 157 cm and I usually wear clothing sizes 10 UK / 12 UK .. Yukatas are designed to fit a ranges of sizes .. I think it will fit you good because obviously you have a smaller frame than I do ;).

Now whether the color will look fine on you or not... It's hard for me to tell from your pic .. But a general rule of thumb, if you have another piece of clothes similar to that color, u can check it out

I myself find hard time trusting online shops ;p

emmm.. lemme C.. that was last year.. I started by looking for online places to buy a Yukata.. there were many, but as U can guess, I had found hard time trusting them ... until I landed at the Yukata Sakura market among several other sites that looked fine ... it took me a very long time before making a final decision ... then once I made up my mind, I made a paypal account using a prepaid card - I still don't trust credit cards, visas and stuff ^^; -

anyways, I contacted the shop owner via email - who is a very nice person- , then I placed my order - U know, the add item to cart, added a Yukata + obi and Tabi set .. of course I printed the paypal confirmation again, and contacted the shop owner again.. and as my order was sent, I received a tracking code to track my order, and it arrived in a few days.. :nod:
